Native Cherokee Nation

NATIVE CHEROKEE NATION
April 20, 1995
Black BLM Mustang
15.0 Hands

Also known as Big Mama, this Mustang is quite the treasure.
She had picked US! We had looked at a former neighbor's barn for a horse and he introduced us to Cherokee.
It was not a hard decision after we met her! She came home with us a week later when her title came in.

This mare is a gentle soul who loves children and is great for a beginner!
She has fought a long hard battle from a bad trim gone way bad.
She will forever have bouts of Laminitis if she isn't watched . She has more good days than bad and having a ball running and bucking with her pasture mate and daughter on those good days.
Thankfully we have more good than bad days with her!

On June 18th 2003 she gave birth to her first daughter Cheyenne, a fine producer of a nicely muscled girl. She is a mother like no other and even though her daughter is almost 5 years old she still has control over that girl!

Cherokee is also a special soul that knows when mom cannot get back to the bunkhouse and assists by putting her head under my arm and letting me lean on her.

Cherokee is a rare find but a diamond to say the least!

This gal loves to trail ride and play with cows!
